Our Activities

Australian Student Wellbeing (ASW) operating as Jonny Shannon Health Presentations is a registered charity dedicated to supporting the mental and emotional health of young people in schools across Australia. We specialise in delivering engaging, age-appropriate presentations on topics such as mental health, bullying, resilience, cyber safety, and substance use.

Our mission is to make health education accessible to all schools, including those in regional, rural, and low-income areas. Through our charity arm, we are able to offer discounted presentations to schools in need, ensuring no student misses out due to financial barriers.

We develop and deliver evidence-based programs both in-person and online, connecting with students in a relatable and inspiring way. In addition to student sessions, we also offer staff training and teacher resources to help schools continue the conversation long after our visit.

To increase access, we maintain strong relationships with school leaders, wellbeing teams, and education departments. We promote our services through school networks, education expos, and online channels, making it easy for schools to book via our website or outreach team.

Our impact is amplified through strategic partnerships with councils, youth services, and other community organisations. We regularly run campaigns aligned with national awareness weeks and share real stories from students to highlight the positive outcomes of our work.

Funding comes from a mix of grants, donations, sponsorships, and fundraising initiatives. We are committed to transparency and regularly report on our programs and outcomes.

History

Since 2013, ASW aka JS health presentations has been in over 410 schools and provided over 3000 presentations. This presentaitons are mainly in schools but also include youth conferences like National Young Leaders Day, New Zealand's Easter Camp, Universities like Massey & AUT, Educational Conferences and  Cyber Bullying Conferences. JS Health Presentations has worked alongside some of the largest mental health initiatives in Australia such as RUOK?, HeadSpace, Young Minds Matter and is in partnership with BurnBright and Batyr under the Leading well-being umbrella. Jonny has partnered with Generation Next to speak at the largest professional development conferences around Australia including board-casting his anti-bullying message to over 15,000 students & 50 schools live. 

All of his Health presentations have been checked & passed the Australian Educational & Analysis consulting standard. We are is 1 of 14 charities who has been signed off through the E-Safety Commissioner of Australia for his work in Cyber Safety & Online Bullying. Our desire is to help young people make educated decisions based on what they want for their future & to seek help whenever they need it.
